Chiropractic Services in Ponte Vedra Beach

Three services, one method: find the actual driver of the problem, restore movement, then rebuild capacity so the result holds.

Chiropractic Care

Spinal and extremity adjustments plus manual soft-tissue therapy, used to restore joint motion and reduce pain enough that meaningful rehab can start.

Adjustments are a tool, not the entire treatment plan. Used well, manual care lowers symptoms and improves how a joint moves — which opens a window where you can load tissue productively instead of guarding against it. Used as the only intervention, it tends to produce short-lived relief and repeat visits without a finish line.

At Injury & Performance Chiropractic this typically includes:

  • Spinal manipulation of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine
  • Extremity adjusting for the shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and wrist
  • Instrument-assisted and low-force techniques when a joint or patient calls for it
  • Manual soft-tissue work for restricted, irritable or overloaded tissue
  • Joint mobilization and mobility work you can repeat between visits

What you won't get A long-term visit package sold before anyone has examined you. Frequency is set by your diagnosis and adjusted based on re-testing.

Rehabilitation

Progressive, loaded rehabilitation that rebuilds strength, motor control and tissue capacity — the part of care that decides whether your results last.

This is the centre of the practice. Dr. Race spent more than a decade as a Certified Personal Trainer before and alongside clinical practice, and the rehab programming reflects that: real loading, real progressions and exercise selection matched to what you actually do — whether that's a barbell, a golf swing, a run, or eight hours at a desk.

Rehabilitation plans are built from:

  • Movement screening and orthopedic testing to establish a baseline
  • Corrective and motor-control work for the segment that isn't doing its job
  • Progressive strength and loading, advanced on measured criteria rather than a calendar
  • Tendon and connective-tissue loading protocols for overuse injuries
  • Return-to-activity and return-to-sport progressions
  • A home program you can actually execute, reviewed and updated at follow-ups

Re-testing is scheduled from the beginning. If a benchmark isn't moving, the plan changes — that's the point of measuring.

Auto Injury Care

Evaluation, treatment and clean documentation after a motor vehicle collision, including the initial examination Florida's PIP rules require within 14 days.

Crash injuries behave differently from gym injuries. Symptoms often escalate over the first several days, the mechanism loads tissue in ways training never does, and the written record matters — to your insurer, and to your attorney if you have one.

Auto injury care includes:

  • Thorough initial evaluation with mechanism-of-injury documentation
  • Screening for red flags and referral for imaging or specialist care when indicated
  • Treatment for whiplash, neck and mid-back pain, low back pain and headaches
  • Progressive rehabilitation as symptoms settle, rather than indefinite passive care
  • Objective re-examination and progress notes throughout the case

Florida's 14-day rule Under Florida's personal injury protection (PIP) statute, you generally must be evaluated by a qualified provider within 14 days of the accident to access your PIP benefits. If you were recently in a collision, call or text — don't wait to see whether it settles on its own.

What a First Visit Looks Like

  1. History and goals. What happened, what makes it better or worse, what you need to get back to.
  2. Examination. Movement screening, orthopedic and neurological testing, and palpation to identify the driver — plus screening for anything that needs a referral.
  3. Explanation. A plain-language account of the findings, the working diagnosis, and what the realistic timeline looks like.
  4. Treatment. In most cases care starts the same visit, along with the first piece of your home program.
  5. Plan. Visit frequency, the benchmarks we'll re-test, and what discharge looks like.

Insurance & Payment

Coverage varies by plan and by case type — general chiropractic, auto injury (PIP) and work-related injuries are all handled differently. The fastest way to get a straight answer for your situation is to call or text the clinic before your first appointment.
